Set up NVX Session

What you have open

The accounts with tabs open come first, then everything else this browser is carrying, ranked by how much each one looks like a real signed-in account rather than a preference cookie. Sites that share one account are grouped together, because a university login covers the portal, the sign-in page and the learning system, and those are one thing rather than three.

What happens when you press it

Your open tabs get grouped Tabs on the same account go into one session together, named after the account and coloured so they are recognisable at a glance.
Its cookies are copied in The browser's own jar is left exactly as it was.
Open tabs move across Tabs already on those sites join the session. They do not reload, because the cookies are identical.
New tabs follow the site A site exactly one session claims takes new tabs on its own. A site two sessions claim asks you which.

One thing to know first

Setting up copies the cookies you have right now. For most sites that is exactly right. For a big account you also keep using in your normal browser, Google most of all, copying a half-finished login can make the site think your session was stolen and sign you out of it. For those, the safer move is Sign in here on a session, which signs in fresh instead of copying. The guide explains why in one short chapter.
